Results of the first 3 Phase 2 Shimmer Governance Decisions:

In our first Round of Phase 2 Temperature Check Poll, we had to decide on three important topics. All these 3 Polls have come to an End, and here are the Final results:

1. [SGP - 0001] Shimmer Community Grant Committee - Lead selection

Selected potential Committee Lead candidates that will be presented to the Community in a final Firefly Phase 3 vote:

Total voters: 197

  1. JD Sutton (DeepSea) @Deep_Sea - 47% of votes
  2. overclocked @overclocked - 41% of votes
  3. Null / Rafael Brochado @null - 8% of votes
  4. Zilan Arslan / Issaus2020 @Issaus2020 - 2% of votes

All candidates will be presented to the Community in Phase 3.

Edit notice 14/03/23: @overclocked has withdrawn his application from the Grant Committee Lead process, meaning that only the remaining 3 candidates will be put of for the Phase 3 vote.

2. [SGP - 0002] Shimmer Community Grant Committee Grant Reviewer selection

Selected potential Committee Grant Reviewers that will be presented to the Community in a final Firefly Phase 3 vote:

  2. Garrett Jin @garrettjin - 43% of votes
  3. Ben Royce @Ben_Royce - 41% of votes

  6. ThomasQv @ThomasQv - 24% of votes
  7. Null / Rafael Brochado @null - 23% of votes
  8. Umair @aquadestructor - 16% of votes
  9. Al @Al_gifs - 16% of votes
  10. See3peeoh @See3peeoh - 13% of votes

Edit notice 20/12/22: As Adamski, who was ranked 8th, has withdrawn his application, @See3peeoh moves up from position 11 to 10 and is therefore going to the Firefly vote

Edit notice 20/02/23. Thomas QV, who was ranked 6th has withdrawn his application, @0xMarcus moves up from position 12 to position 10 and is going to the Firefly vote

These ten candidates will be presented to the Community in Phase 3.

3. [SGP - 0003] Shimmer Growth Committee as part of the Tangle Ecosystem Association

The Proposal has reached more than 100 votes in favor of the Proposal, with a total of 132 casted votes and 92% in favor of the Proposal.
As there has been a Counter Proposal submitted that reached the required 50 votes to be eligible, a RunOff Poll between the two Proposals will be conducted starting today and lasting seven days to determine the final winner.
