Does IOTA plan to explore Agentic Delegators?

At DeGov, we’ve been building the DeGov Agent (degov-agent.eth: 0x22c7f83418cc6868651e8a46ef9000d9be8866e5), an AI-powered governance delegate. Instead of being controlled by a single individual, the agent actively participates in governance through analysis, engagement, and transparent voting.

What can the DeGov Agent do?

  1. Agent Review – Provides clear proposal summaries and voting insights to help members quickly understand complex governance items.

  2. Agent Engagement – Syncs proposal statuses and live voting updates directly to X/Twitter, keeping the community informed in real time.

  3. Agent Delegate – An AI delegate that analyzes both on-chain and off-chain data, then casts votes automatically before deadlines.

  4. Agent Voting – Decisions are explained with reasoning based on proposal content, community comments, and poll sentiment—bringing transparency to every vote. More details here.

Live use cases:

  • ENS DAO Delegates (ENS lists DeGov in their official docs)

  • Lazy Summer Protocol Delegates (Summer finance include us in the ecosystem)

We’d love to hear the IOTA community’s thoughts:
:backhand_index_pointing_right: Should IOTA DAO consider adopting an AI-powered delegator model?
:backhand_index_pointing_right: How might agent-based governance strengthen participation and transparency in IOTA?

Looking forward to your feedback—and excited about the possibility of contributing to the IOTA ecosystem with DeGov.
